Knowledge for sportswear brands and apparel importers

About

About Belta Sports Insights

Belta Sports Insights is the editorial resource published by Belta Sports, a B2B sportswear and apparel manufacturer based in Sialkot, Pakistan. It exists for one reason: to answer, in full and in public, the questions importers and new brand founders ask us before they place their first order.

What this site is — and is not

This site does not sell anything. There is no catalogue, no cart and no pricing table. Every guide and article here is written to be genuinely useful whether or not you ever work with us. When you are ready to talk about production, the links throughout the site take you to beltasports.com, where you can request a quotation.

We publish two kinds of content: pillar guides, which are comprehensive references on a whole topic, and articles, which are shorter explainers attached to a pillar guide. A glossary covers the terminology that appears across both.

About Belta Sports

Belta Sports manufactures sportswear, activewear and teamwear from Sialkot, Pakistan — a city that has specialised in sports goods and technical apparel for generations. We produce private label and custom cut-and-sew programmes for importers, distributors and brands across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Australia. Everything published here comes from that day-to-day production and export work.

Our authors

Hamza Iqbal

Head of Export Operations, Belta Sports

Hamza has spent over a decade coordinating apparel export shipments out of Sialkot for buyers in the UK, EU, US and Australia. He writes about Incoterms, HS classification, documentation and freight planning — the operational side of importing that rarely appears in supplier brochures.

Ayesha Rahman

Product Development Lead, Belta Sports

Ayesha works with emerging activewear labels on fit, fabric selection and production readiness, and has taken more than eighty first-time brands through their debut production run. She covers tech packs, grading, fabric GSM and quality standards.

Editorial standards

  • Every article carries a named author with their actual role at Belta Sports.
  • Publication and last-updated dates are shown and kept accurate.
  • Figures such as lead times, MOQs and tolerances reflect our own production reality, and we say when a number is a typical range rather than a guarantee.
  • Commercial intent stays on beltasports.com; this site stays educational.
